چکیده

Inter-well interference, a superimposed effect of pressure propagation from adjacent wells, can enhance the dynamics methane desorption in pores and gas transport fractures through energy migration. To better understand variation pattern seepage efficiency, inter-well interference mechanism different types reservoirs productivity changes after infilling coalbed wells were investigated. The results showed that average old increased by 627 m3/d horizontal well high-permeability without surrounding rock water supply (HP-WW); however, newly infilled produced at 4996 m3/d. infill HP-WW reservoir resulted 11%-39%permeability increment compared with initial permeability (the 1.58 to 2.18 mD). While, much higher was observed (varies 29%-50%) relative low formation due well. After confining increases effective stress, which is smaller than positive formed fracture expansion increase diffusion area. Additionally, promotes coupled superposition drop funnel, effectively suppresses influence induced velocity sensitivity, lock, resulting an difference between wellbore. This enhances pore surface migration fracture. For diffusion, mean free path molecules decreases implying main resistance collisions wall among molecules. Therefore, findings this study help for understanding response efficient CBM production.

Production Forecasting of Coalbed Methane Wells Based on Type-2 Fuzzy Logic System

Coal bed methane (CBM) reservoir production is controlled by a large set of parameters: geology, tectonics, reservoir, completion and operation. Its simulation process is complicated, relative information is difficult to be obtained, so it is necessary to analyze accurately coal bed gas potential production capacity by adopting other mathematics methods in case of incomplete information. Regard...

Numerical Simulation of Coalbed Methane Seepage in Pinnate Horizontal Well Based on Multi-Flow Coupling Model

Abstract: The motive of the study is to establish a seepage flow model of pinnate horizontal well in infinite reservoir according to the characteristics of 3D distribution of CBM pinnate horizontal well. Taking flow pressure drop along the main and branch boreholes into consideration, the fluid flow formulas of CBM pinnate horizontal well are proposed. The corresponding calculation program has ...
